River Crossing B and B and Self-Catering is set on 40ha (100 acres) of pristine land, where local reedbuck and duiker take their refuge in the surrounding vegetation. There is also a wonderful array of wild flowers, which are at their peak in October.River Crossing boasts a breath-taking view of Cathkin Park and Champagne Castle.

River Crossing features a total of 10 bedrooms (all bedrooms have en-suite bathroom with shower) sleeping 22/24 guests split as follows:

Villa Adamo (two bedrooms in total):
Home of Dr Ernest & Michelle Adams, your hosts, offers two double B&B bedrooms with en-suite bathroom/shower, small fridge, DSTV with hotel bouquet, private Patio door and under floor heating. One Bedroom has Queen Size bed and the other bedroom has twin beds which can convert to King size. Electric blankets in beds.

Villa Toscana (four double bedrooms in total):
Each with small fridge, DSTV hotel bouquet, private patio door and under floor heating. Accommodation can either be used as four individual B&B rooms or the whole Villa can be let for self-catering for one group (sleeps eight) as it has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge/dinette with fireplace. Three bedrooms have Queen Size beds and the fourth bedroom has twin beds which can convert to King size. Electric blankets in beds.

Villa Venezia (four bedrooms in total):
Brand new and comprises two self-catering units under one roof. Each of the two units comprises two en-suite bedrooms, one on each side of a combined fully equipped kitchenette/lounge/dining area. In each unit, one bedroom comprises Twin beds (can convert to King size) and the other a Queen Size bed. Electric blankets in beds. To beat load shedding we have provided mobile combination gas/electric heaters for the lounge/dinette/kitchenettes. Can be trolleyed to bedrooms.

There is an option to include breakfast for an additional fee in all self-catered accommodation.
