Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort is an AA Recommended/Highly Recommended property that is situated in the heart of the Champagne Valley (Drakensberg, Kwazulu Natal).This property offers accommodation in self catering thatch cottages, log cabins, drakensbergs, plettenbergs and caravan or campsite.

Champagne Valley is ideally located in the Drakensberg which offers many things to see and do in the area including hiking, bird watching, canoeing, mountain biking, 4×4 trails, quad biking, parasailing, hot air ballooning, sleeping in a cave for the night, mountain climbing, trekking, trout fishing, golf, horse riding, abseiling, Birds of Prey Centre, kayaking, white water tubing and visiting art galleries.

This property offers accommodation in six to twelve sleeper thatch cottages that come fully equipped with three to five bedrooms, double/twin or single beds, three bathrooms (in the six and seven sleepers the bathrooms are en-suite), lounge, dining area, kitchenette or kitchen, some with verandas and fireplaces.The cottages can sleep from two to eight people and come with one to three and half bedrooms, one to two bathrooms, lounge, dinette, kitchen and some with fireplaces.The Drakensbergs and Plettenbergs come with two bedrooms, one bathroom, double and twin size beds, kitchen, lounge and dinette.The log cabins come with two bedrooms, one bathroom, lounge and kitchen.The Mountain base offers three dorms, communal ablutions and kitchen.

Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort also offers a campsite with powerpoints and braai facilities, wedding venue, conference facilities for up to 100 delegates, four dams, games room, restaurant, pub, swimming pools, lapa, braai facilities, convenience store, airfield, TV lounge, tennis and volleyball courts.
