Nylsvley Nature Reserve is one of the premier bird-watching localities. The reserve is in part of the largest floodplain vlei in the country with 370 bird species recorded of which 102 are waterfowl. In rainy seasons the floodplain becomes a hive of activity with water bird numbers being approximately 80000. Accommodation consists of a group camp with twin-bedded rooms accommodating 30 people with a fully-equipped kitchen. Bring own bedding. Also caravan/camping sites, braai sites, lapa and basic ablution facilities.
